ILLUSTRATING FANDOM

I was given creative freedom to create an illustration that represented “fandom” as a whole, for use as Total Fandom's podcast image.

Their podcast features discussions on all avenues of fandom, with the main four areas being video games, movies, books/comic books, and television.

With this knowledge in mind, I wanted to encapsulate all four main subjects into a single image. Because fandom characters are so recognizable I decided to create a face made up of four sections, with each section representing the four main topics of discussion in the podcast.

Harry Potter (Books), Spider-Man (Film), Dalek (TV), and Mario (Gaming).
